Elect Lady: Dr. Kisha L. Birden
Dr. Kisha L. Birden is a servant to her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. A native of Harrisburg, PA, she received formal education through the Harrisburg School District. Afterwards, she obtained a bachelorette & master’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University, '01 & '04 respectively and a doctoral degree from Regent University '24.
Kisha comes from a family of Pentecostal preachers & singers. It was said by her father that she would sing because as a baby she would coo & make melodic sounds. To date, she has developed the gift given to her by God as she sings with anointing & power from the Holy Spirit. When ministering through song, it is her desire to demonstrate vocal excellence. She also desires to help people experience the heart of God through intimate worship & praise.
While singing is a sincere passion, it is only an aspect of the giftings given to this woman of God. Lady Kisha is also a strong leader as demonstrated from an early age. She currently oversees her family's homeschooling program, is the administrator for Transformation Church & Ministries and serves as the founder of Mother4Mother, a ministry that helps mothers identify & pursue their Christ centered purpose in life.
Lady Kisha has been blessed with the extraordinary pleasure of doing life & ministry with her husband of 12 years, Pastor Eric A. Birden, Jr. Together they labor as Pastor & Elect Lady of Transformation Church & Ministries in Highspire, PA. Additionally, the couple hosts a variety of events with the intent to bring the body of Christ together for fellowship, biblical training, deliverance and spiritual development.
Eric & Kisha have dedicated their lives to raising godly, servant children that will advance the kingdom of God with passion & sincerity. Eric, Moriah, Meah, Melchi, Micaiah, Mercy Mnason and Micah are Lady Kisha's foremost ministry. She believes home is the foundation of the church and the launching pad for effective kingdom work.
A scripture Kisha aspires to live by is found in John 4:34...,"My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." Her earnest desire is to do all things for God's glory and to see the KINGDOM of God realized in earth as it is in heaven.
